You can apply up to 3 times a day for each level.

Primary KYC in the app

  1. Log in and tap the user icon.
  2. Tap Verify next to your name.
  3. Under Primary KYC, tap Verify.
  4. Choose the country that issued your document and the document type, then tap Next.
  5. Upload photos of the front and back (take new ones or pick them from your gallery).
  6. Tap Submit.

On the website

User icon → Identification → under Primary KYC, click Verify via Web → country and document type → photos of the front and back with all four corners visible → Submit for Review.

Reviews are done within 24 hours.

Who can't get verified on MEXC?

MEXC says your ID document must not be issued by a restricted country. That means a Sudanese passport is rejected, even if its holder lives abroad. Alternatives: Binance or KuCoin, which accepts a residence permit.

Frequently asked questions

Can I withdraw from MEXC without verification? No. Since February 2026, deposits and withdrawals aren't available to unverified accounts.

How long does MEXC verification take? Reviews are done within 24 hours of submitting.

How many times can I try to get verified? Up to 3 times a day for each level.

What's the difference between Primary and Advanced KYC? Primary uses photos of your document and comes with an 80 BTC daily withdrawal limit. Advanced adds face recognition and raises the limit to 200 BTC.

Does MEXC accept a Sudanese passport? No. Documents issued by restricted countries are rejected.
