Document rules that matter

Physical originals only: Bybit doesn't accept digital copies, scanned images or screenshots.
Proof of address must be dated within the last 3 months. Anything older is rejected.
Nationality decides eligibility: Bybit restricts users by nationality, so Syrian and Sudanese nationals won't be verified, even if they live abroad.

Standard level: step by step

1. Open the verification page

In the app, go to your account page and choose Identity Verification.

2. Choose your country of residence

Select the country you currently live in.

3. Upload your proof of identity

Take a clear photo of the original document: all four corners visible, no glare, and not a screenshot.

4. Facial recognition

Scan your face on your device and follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Wait for the result

The review usually completes automatically in about 15 minutes, though it can sometimes take up to 48 hours. Some users are asked to fill in an extra assessment questionnaire.
