Method 1: Sell USDT for your local currency on P2P

This is what most people mean by "withdrawing money from Binance": you sell your USDT to another user, and they send you the money in your local currency, to your bank account or e-wallet.

Step 1: Move your USDT to your Funding wallet

P2P sales only come out of your Funding wallet. If your USDT is in your Spot wallet, transfer it to Funding first.

Step 2: Open P2P and choose [Sell]

Tap Trade, then P2P, switch to Sell, and select USDT and your local currency.

Step 3: Pick a buyer

Tap Sell next to a buyer that suits you. Before you go any further, check how much they want to buy, their trade limits, and the payment methods they use.

Step 4: Enter the amount and how you want to be paid

Enter how much you want to sell, then add or select the payment method you'll be paid with.

Step 5: Tap [Sell USDT] and wait for payment

Read the buyer's terms, then tap Sell USDT. Wait for the buyer to send the money. To contact them, use Chat; for support, use Help.

Step 6: Check for yourself, then tap [Confirm Release]

When the buyer says they've paid, open your banking or e-wallet app and check for yourself that:

  • the full amount has arrived,
  • and the payer's name matches the buyer's name on the order.

Only then tap Confirm Release, and confirm with two-factor authentication or your passkey.

Express mode: in a hurry? Choose USDT in Express mode, enter the amount and tap Sell USDT, and the system finds the best available order for you. The same check-before-you-release rule applies.

Method 2: Send crypto to another wallet or exchange

Step 1: Open [Withdraw Assets]

In the app: Assets → Overview → Send → Withdraw Assets.

Step 2: Choose the coin and account

Choose the account you're withdrawing from and the coin, for example USDT.

Step 3: Paste the address and choose the network

Paste the address of the receiving wallet or exchange, and choose the network. Binance's warning: the network must be one that the exchange you're withdrawing to supports.

The most common USDT networks are TRC20, BEP20 and ERC20. The differences are explained in our guide to USDT networks.

Step 4: Enter the amount and check the fees

Once you enter the amount, you'll see the network fee and the final amount. You have two options:

  • Receive Amount: the other side receives exactly what you typed, and the fee is added on top.
  • Withdrawal Amount: the fee is deducted from the amount you typed.

Fees and the minimum withdrawal are shown on the withdrawal screen itself, and they vary by coin and network.

Step 5: Confirm with two-factor authentication

Confirm the withdrawal, then approve it on your 2FA device or with your passkey. Track its status under Assets → Overview → the transaction history icon.

Sending to another Binance user (no network needed)

On the website, you can choose Binance User instead of an address, enter their email, phone number or Binance ID, then click Send. It's handy for sending money to family or anyone else with a Binance account.

Protect your withdrawals: the whitelist

Turn on the whitelist for withdrawal addresses, so withdrawals can only go to addresses you've saved. You add addresses through address management, and it requires two-factor authentication. If your account is ever hacked, this makes it much harder for the thief to withdraw your funds.

Common problems and fixes

The buyer says they've paid, but I can't see the money

  • Don't release the crypto. Message them in [Chat], and if they keep insisting, use [Help] to contact support.

I can't sell: my balance doesn't show up in P2P

  • Your USDT is most likely in your Spot wallet. Move it to your Funding wallet.

My payment method was rejected

  • It has to be in the same name as your verified Binance account.

My withdrawal to another exchange hasn't arrived

  • Check the network, the address and the memo, and track the transaction ID (TxID). If you used the wrong network, contact support at both exchanges right away.

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn USDT into money in my bank account? Sell it on P2P: the buyer sends you your local currency to your bank account or e-wallet, and once you've confirmed the money has arrived, you release the USDT to them.

Why can't I see my balance in P2P? P2P sales come out of your Funding wallet. Move your crypto there first.

Can I get paid into my brother's or a friend's account? No. The payment method has to be in the same name as your verified account.

When should I tap [Confirm Release]? Only after you've opened your bank account or e-wallet and seen the full amount, with the payer's name matching the buyer's name.

What are Binance's withdrawal fees? They vary by coin and network, and they're shown on the withdrawal screen before you confirm.

What's the difference between "Receive Amount" and "Withdrawal Amount"? The first adds the fee on top so the other side receives the full amount; the second deducts the fee from the amount you typed.

I sent on the wrong network. What do I do? Contact the receiving exchange's support right away, with your transaction ID to hand. Recovery isn't guaranteed, so always double-check the network.
