How to Create a MEXC Account

The steps

1. Tap Sign Up

On the MEXC website or the official app, tap Sign Up.

2. Enter your email or phone number

Enter your email or phone number. You'll see an optional field. If you opened sign-up from the link on this page, it's already filled in, so leave it as it is.

3. Set a password and enter the code

Create a strong password that you only use for MEXC, then enter the code you received.

4. Turn on two-factor authentication

In your security settings, turn on Google Authenticator or whichever verification method is available. This is the most important thing to do before any deposit.

5. Verify your account

Go straight to verification.

What can an unverified account do?

According to MEXC's announcement on 5 February 2026: no deposits and no withdrawals, trading and account features are restricted, and you can only follow market data and announcements.

Can I use MEXC without verification? Not for deposits or withdrawals. Verification has been required since February 2026.

Is it free to sign up for MEXC? Yes.

I'm Sudanese and live in the Gulf. Can I sign up? MEXC rejects ID documents issued by restricted countries such as Sudan. Use another exchange, such as Binance.
