> To withdraw USDT in Egypt, you sell it for Egyptian pounds on **P2P**: move your USDT to your **Funding wallet**, go to **[Trade]** → **[P2P]** → **[Sell]**, choose **EGP**, and pick a buyer who pays by **InstaPay**, **Vodafone Cash** or bank transfer. Add a payout method **in your own name**, and only tap **[Confirm release]** after you've opened your bank or wallet app and **seen the money yourself**. **Binance has the most EGP buyers.**

|---|---|
| **Most popular ways to get paid** | InstaPay · Vodafone Cash · bank transfer · e& money · Orange Cash |
| **Payout requirement** | The account or wallet must be in the name on your verified account |
| **Where you sell from** | Funding wallet (move your USDT there first) |
| **The golden rule** | Don't release until you see the money in your bank or wallet app |

## Which exchange has the most buyers paying in pounds?

Buy ads (people who buy USDT from you and pay you in pounds), as we counted them **on 10 October 2026**:

| Exchange | Buy ads (you sell to them) |
|---|---|
| **Binance** | 341 |
| **Bybit** | 177 |
| **OKX** | 165 |
| **Bitget** | 65 |

The more buyers there are, the easier it is to get a better price and someone who pays the way you prefer.

## How to withdraw USDT in Egypt (on Binance)

### 1. Move your USDT to your Funding wallet

P2P sales come out of your **Funding wallet**. If your USDT is in your Spot wallet, transfer it across first.

### 2. Open P2P and choose [Sell] and EGP

**[Trade]** → **[P2P]** → **[Sell]**, then choose **USDT** and **EGP**.

### 3. Filter by payout method

Choose **InstaPay**, **Vodafone Cash** or your bank. For each buyer, check the price, the minimum and maximum limits, the payment methods and their trade count.

### 4. Add a payout method in your name

Enter the amount, then add your payout method:
- **InstaPay:** your bank account details or your InstaPay address.
- **Vodafone Cash:** your wallet number.

> ⚠️ **Binance's rule:** your payout method **must be in the same name as your verified account.** Don't get paid into your father's or brother's wallet.

### 5. Tap [Sell USDT] and wait for the payment

Read the buyer's terms and tap **[Sell USDT]**. Only talk to them through the **[Chat]** inside the order.

### 6. Check for yourself, then tap [Confirm release]

When the buyer says they've paid:
1. Open **InstaPay, your banking app or Vodafone Cash** yourself.
2. Make sure the **full** amount has arrived.
3. Make sure the **sender's name** matches the buyer's name in the order.

Only then tap **[Confirm release]** and confirm with two-factor authentication.

> ⚠️ **The most dangerous trick in Egypt:** a fake "transfer complete" SMS or screenshot. Binance says it plainly: **don't trust text messages**, open the app yourself. If you can't confirm the payment, **don't release**.

## Money arrived from a different name: what now?

This is one of the most common scams: the buyer pays you from **someone else's** account, and after you release the crypto, the real account holder asks their bank to reverse the payment. Binance's advice: **don't accept payments from third-party accounts**, don't release the crypto, open an appeal, and send the money back to the account it came from.

## Family in Egypt while you're abroad?

If you send USDT to a family member's Binance account (as a Binance user, with no network to choose), they can sell it with the same steps and get paid in pounds by InstaPay or Vodafone Cash **in their own name**. Explain the golden rule to them: no release until they see the money in the app.

## Looking for something other than Binance?

- **Bybit:** the second-largest number of EGP buyers in our count. [Open Bybit →]
- **OKX:** almost as many buyers as Bybit. [Open OKX →]
