# OKX Tutorial for Beginners

> **Quick answer**
> Getting started on OKX takes five steps: **(1) create an account** with your email **and** phone number, **(2) verify it** with a valid ID and a face photo (reviewed within 24 hours), then either **(3) deposit** crypto from another wallet or **(4) buy USDT on P2P** with your local currency (no fees, using the "I have paid" button), and finally **(5) withdraw** by selling your USDT on P2P or sending it to a wallet. Keep in mind: **OKX isn't available to residents of Syria, and its P2P doesn't support the UAE dirham**.
