# Does MEXC Require KYC?

## Primary KYC in the app

1. Log in and tap the **user icon**.
2. Tap **Verify** next to your name.
3. Under **Primary KYC**, tap **Verify**.
4. Choose **the country that issued your document** and **the document type**, then tap **Next**.
5. Upload photos of the **front and back** (take new ones or pick them from your gallery).
6. Tap **Submit**.

User icon → **Identification** → under Primary KYC, click **Verify via Web** → country and document type → photos of the front and back with **all four corners** visible → **Submit for Review**.

## Who can't get verified on MEXC?

MEXC says **your ID document must not be issued by a restricted country**. That means **a Sudanese passport is rejected**, even if its holder lives abroad.
