# KuCoin P2P: How to Buy and Sell USDT in Your Currency

> On KuCoin, go to **Buy Crypto** → **P2P** and add your **payment methods** first. Choose **Fast Trade** to be matched automatically, or the **P2P** zone to pick a seller yourself. **To buy:** pay the seller, then tap **Pay** and **Confirm Payment**. **To sell:** KuCoin locks your crypto during the trade and only releases it once you've checked yourself that the money has arrived, and you confirm the release **with your trading password**. The limit: **no more than two open orders** at a time.

## Buying on KuCoin P2P

1. Go to **Buy Crypto** → **P2P**, and add your payment methods if you haven't yet.
2. Choose **Fast Trade**, or go to the **P2P** zone and pick a seller.
3. Enter the amount and place the order.
4. Pay the seller **directly** using the details shown in the order, from an account in your own name.
5. Tap **Pay**, then **Confirm Payment**.
6. Once the seller releases the crypto, you'll find it in your assets.

**Seller hasn't released it?** Use **Remind Seller** to nudge them, or **Need Help?** to contact support.

> 💡 In some markets (including the **Saudi riyal and UAE dirham**), you may be asked to **upload proof of payment**.

## Selling on KuCoin P2P

1. Go to **Buy Crypto** → **P2P**, and add the method you want to be paid with.
2. Pick a buyer in the P2P zone (or use Fast Trade).
3. KuCoin **locks the crypto** you're selling for the whole trade.
4. Once you've opened **your bank or wallet app yourself** and seen the money, release the crypto and confirm **with your trading password**.

> ⚠️ **KuCoin's advice:** check your bank account or wallet directly, and **don't rely on SMS or email messages**. KuCoin **will never ask you to complete a P2P trade by email**.
